Watched a movie called the Mutant Chronicles last night. Thought not an outstandingly great movie, it was decent. I don't actually bring it up to talk about the movie itself. Well not really, just want to talk about the mutants.

Now the mutants in Mutant Chronicles are mutants. Freakish, humanoid but mutated. The variety of mutation limited, though it does have to be otherwise you will just end up producing endless kinds of mutants. They, these movies mutants, remind me more of the mutants I remember from my child. Disfigured and mutantish. Remember the Toxic Avengers? Not like the flashy modern mutants who look just like you and me and just have special powers. Piff!!!

I do recommend checking this movie out. Don't rise your expectation bar too high, just pop in on sit back and soak in the media.

Whilst on the topic of movies Hellboy 2 : The Golden Army. I have also had the pleasure of viewing this work also. It isn't worse than the first and nor is it better. If you like the first one then why not check this one out. Hellboy 2 for me was on par with the Hellboy. The storyline was a tad weaker I felt than the original. Well I felt it was anyway.

Was a joy to see Hellboy as a youth, amused me that we saw more of father, whom you may recall died in the first one, than the human introduced in the first to watch Hellboy. Although he is mentioned so they do establish what became of him.
