Lets tackle something I am finding quite amusing of late. Hypocrisy abound. The one that has really being getting under my skin recently is our increasing obsession with the about of green house gases we produce. Our carbon foot print is the term they are chucking about. Which I don’t have anything against. Its just watching television or listening to the radio, hearing and/or seeing an ad encouraging the average person to reduce their carbon foot print. Followed closely by an ad for a motor racing event. Indy was the most recent. At these events you have numerous cars, normally high powered ones, driving in circles for hours on end. Chew gas, burning rubber, creating green house gases. Not to mention at a lot of these events they have flybys from military aircraft. Which is also adding to the events carbons foot prints. They are the big ones. You have all the people and there activities adding to it to. Yes I get it. We can all and should reduce our impact on the environment. So why do we allow numerous of these events to take place all year round all over the world. Oh that’s right. I know the answer. It is the same reason the government feels it can tell me that smoking is bad. It has no positives. Its all bad, its kills. Then why allow me to buy them. Why give me the choice if you are just going to tell me what to do. MONEY. My old enemy that is why. They have to appear to be doing something about the problem(s). Smoking, Green house gases, so on and so forth. But the cold hard truth is that as long as you can reach into you pocket and give the government enough money you can get away with killing its people. Even destroying the world around you. Only in portion to the money you are willing to put out off course. Whats your life worth?
Was just watching a television that implied a hydrogen based future was the the way to go. Not disagreeing... not well enough informed to do so fight now. My thing.. and why I am writing this blog. Its that humans have a habit of over using resources. Anything that can assist us we take full advantage of. Coal for example. My thing is with hydrogen I know there is a lot of it and that it is a base element for life on this planet not to mention the universe(by all accounts). What if we use up all of or even a great chuck of hydregon... that is really going to stuff things up. Way more than using up all the coal. That effects... hydregon effects it all.
