This is probably somewhat of an insight to me. It was an interesting thought set to stumble upon at 2:44am. My issue here is well not real sure what group to place it in so I’ll just get on with it. As I’ve already stated its early in the morning so forgive me.
I have an aversion towards work, not so much as I am lazy or that I don’t want to work. I use to believe I just didn’t see the point in a lot of the jobs that are around, or the need for such demand on the staff. Survival by no means depends on paperwork or sales figures for example. The thought set I have stumbled across which I am calling “Contracts of Slavery” just adds to my aversion.
I have know people 19 years of age or so who are in debt to figures of 5 even 6 digits. Trapping them in their contracts of slavery. For you see as long as you owe someone or some company a debt you need to work. Not for yourself your survival, but for your debts. And why are people so young willing and continually giving up their freedom. For a whiz bang new surround sound entertainment system and gaming unit of course, or a shinny new car. Or sometimes a house. And that last one is a long contract of slavery to be agreeing to at such a young age. Considering the way things as are going your life is likely to be exceed a 100 years. If not at least get close.
It is a tricky little world we have constructed too, for once you start along that path. The one were you become accustom to being a slave. It becomes difficult to break free.
I’m not saying don’t want stuff. Don’t get stuff that is whiz bang and shinny. Just I feel better when I work for the shinny whiz bang stuff I want, then get it. That way I have my stuff but still owe no one anything. And at any time am free to pursue, well what ever I want. As long as I can survive.
